It only takes 6 plane trips, a 4 hour train trip and a 25 minute bus trip from Perth (and the return trips) to reach this amazing place called Machu Picchu, and it's all worth it!

Getting a chance to download some photographs and information has been difficult as we are so on the move. Our relatives have been so hospitable and taken us to so many wonderful places, views and restaurants that its hard to keep up. Although we went to Mar del Plata at a quiet time it was still very busy with many foreign and local tourists and visitors. During the vacation season the population trebles from 600 000 to 2 million! Leaves Albany for dead?

Hi everyone, just a quick update from Buenos Aires Airport where we
are waiting for our flight to Lima. We´ve had a hectic few days in
BA and Mar del Plata with lots of food and it has been great meeting
Diana´s two cousins and aunty and uncle and their families. Everyone
has been really hospitable and have shown us some wonderful sights
and shared some magical culinary experiences. Argentina has been a
wonderful surpise to be in - considering we had imagined it to have
been not as well developed and just another big city. It´s like

Hi everyone, well our first "senior's moment" occurred today - we didn't check our itinerary carefully enough and found that our "few" hours in Auckland actually was an overnight stay!

After a busy term it seems that the reality of travelling for the next few months has hit home! What seemed like heaps of time is now feeling a bit tight. Garden, shed, bedrooms, kids, school, hospital, bank, bills making sure all the last minute details have been attended to. Has the accommodation for.... been booked?
Cats have been relocated? Fish are having a holiday at Damons now to pack the bags!
