Our brief visit to London evoked memories for both of us as we walked around Picadilly Circus and soaked up the atmosphere. The weather has been very kind, perfect really, and we have been able to do quite a bit of walking.(Although, take heed not to take sandals off in Hyde Park near lake to frolic in the grass because ducks do the same and once sandals back on, bees love looking up ladies slacks to bite thighs!). Staying in a comfy B&B near Heathrow with genial host John and caught up with old friends Chis & Hussein Kamruddin, and two of their children Kamal & Nafisah, having a delightful dinner with them Saturday night. Went to see a BBC PROMS performance in the Albert Hall on Sunday which was amazing. Today (Tuesday) we head off to Paris for 5 days via the underground. Au revoir!!
