Despite Diana not being really keen on going to Vegas, she had a great time! Visiting all the hotels/casinos was amazing as was the M & M 4 floors of chocolate heaven. The object of our visit The Cirque de Soleil's Beatles LOVE concert at the Mirage was excellent, restored our faith in the Cirque again. We had a pre-dinner drink at the "Revolution" Bar and Diana wanted champagne (of course) but it turned out to be a Chandon at $12 glass (really enjoyed that one glass!) The Bellagio with its beautiful water features was delightful to watch. Our favourite casino though was Caesar's Palace and the Venetian where artificial skies make time immeasurable in the city that never sleeps. I greeted one waiter with "Good morning and then corrected myself with Good Afternoon and he said does it really matter here?!) We visiting the Hilton as a Star Trek exhibition was on (especially for Helen B) only to find that it was a 4 day convention and the decor for that was amazing. Got talking to a Star Trek geek who gave us more than enough info on everything happening at the convention! One photo shows Harry enjoying dinner at the Brazil restaurant in the Mirage. After spending some in Peru prior to the USA we can only wonder at our world with its huge economic divides and the stark contrasts between rich and poor. Next stop Seattle!
